Outside Researchers

Local researchers not affiliated with Sotheby's Institute of Art are required to present a METRO pass from their home university or college library.  

Independent researchers, Sotheby's alumni or students and faculty at institutions outside the New York metropolitan area may visit the library by appointment only. Send an email to nylibrary@sia.edu. Visitors may only use materials on site.
