Placing a Reservation on an item

You can place a reservation on an item that is currently checked out by sending an email to the library at nylibrary@sia.edu

The person with the item can keep it until it is due but will not be able to renew it once the reservation has been placed. When the item is returned to the library you will automatically be contacted by email alerting you that the item is now available for pick up. Reserved titles will be held for students at the Circulation Desk for up to one week and then returned to the stacks.
