How do I find a book that SIA library doesn't have?

There will be times when a book you want to look at is out on loan to another student, or not held here at SIA library. There are two things you can do:

  1. Place a reservation on the book, if it is held by the library but out on loan to another student. To do this, you will need to email us at library@sia.edu, phone us on 020 7462 3230, or come into the library.

  2. London is full of libraries which SIA students can use. Here is a list of the key libraries which SIA students can access and links to their catalogues.

  3. You don't need to check each library's catalogue individually: you can use Library Hub Discover to search many at once. Watch a video intro to Library Hub Discover (3 mins) or see the comprehensive guide to finding books in other libraries.

If there is a book that you think is particularly relevant to your studies that is not held by the library, please email us with the details. We buy a copy of all required reading on all course reading lists.
