How do you find a book that SIA library doesn't have?

There will be times when a book you want to look at is out on loan to another student, or not held here at SIA library. There are two things you can do:

  1. Place a reservation on the book, if it is held by the library but out on loan to another student. To do this, you will need to email us at library@sia.edu, phone us on 020 7462 3230, or come into the library.

  2. London is full of libraries which SIA students can use. For a full list of the libraries which SIA students can access and links to their catalogues, please click here. You can check their catalogues for books and journals.

  3. If you don't want to check each library's catalogue individually, you can use Copac. Watch this video to see how to find a book SIA library doesn't have using Copac:

If there is a book that you think is particularly relevant to your studies that is not held by the library, please email us with the details. We buy a copy of all required reading on all course reading lists.
